Climate: El Salvador has a tropical and temperate climate. The rainy season lasts from May to October, and the dry season lasts from November to April.
Both graphs are from: http://www.eldoradocountyweather.com/climate/central%20america/el%20salvador/San%20Salvador.html
Seasonality: San Salvador is the capital city, where the annual range of temperature is 23 fahrenheit (Weather Spark), and the annual range of precipitation is 105mm (World Weather Online). Santa Ana is another city in El Salvador, and has a temperature range of 27 fahrenheit (Climate Zone), and a precipitation range of 204 mm (Holiday Weather). San Salvador has a lower range of temperature but a higher range of precipitation than Honolulu, Hi. Honolulu's annual temperature range is 30 fahrenheit (Weather Spark), and its annual precipitation range is 60mm (RSS Weather). It looks as though Honolulu can have hotter summers, while San Salvador has more rain during it's rainy season. San Salvador seems to have a low seasonality. In the summers you will experience very dry and hot days, and during fall and winter you will experience lots of rain, but throughout the year you will not see a huge drop or spike in temperature.
